AI visibility (GEO)
Fewer people visit the website, and the phone rings less. The cause is often the same: when people ask an AI, the business is not mentioned. We work to move you into the answer.
Check your AI visibilityWhat AI visibility means in practice
AI visibility is the degree to which your business is mentioned and cited when someone asks an AI about what you do. More and more people put their question to ChatGPT, Google AI and similar services instead of working through a list of links. They get one answer back, and that answer usually names only a handful of businesses.
If you are not in the answer, you do not exist for that person. There is no page two to climb from. And it is not one job: ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Gemini and Copilot read the web in different ways and pull from different sources. Our measurements show their sources barely overlap. Visibility therefore has to be built and measured per surface.
Why it is urgent
AI has taken over much of what Google used to do. A large share of searches now end without a click, because the answer arrives directly and nobody goes on to a website. The businesses that get named take most of the attention. The ones that do not get named notice it as fewer enquiries.
This is already happening, and it is not going back. The longer you wait, the more settled the picture the AI holds of your industry becomes without you in it. AI services build their answers on sources that already exist, so every month without visible traces is a month where your competitors write the story of your industry.
How we work: measurement first, always
We do not guess, and we never start with fixes. First we measure where you actually stand:
- We ask the questions your customers actually ask, on all four AI surfaces: ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Gemini and Copilot
- We document every answer as raw data: are you mentioned, are you cited, and who takes the place instead
- We read the classic Google ranking in the same measurement, because two independent methods pointing the same way carry more weight than one
- We check the technical side: can the AI crawlers read your website at all?
Once we know where the gap is, we put in the work that actually moves you into the answer. Not everything at once, but what counts most, first. Then we measure again, same questions, same method, so you see the change in numbers rather than in promises.
What we look at
An AI builds its answer from what many sources say about you, not only from your own website. So we look wider:
- What is said about you across sources: mentions, reviews, maps and forums
- Whether the information about the business is consistent and holds together
- Whether your website is technically readable for both Google and AI, including structured data and whether your content is visible to AI crawlers at all
- Where the biggest gaps are compared with the businesses that do get named
We measure openly, including ourselves
We run a public benchmark of an entire industry in AI answers, with frozen questions, a documented method and all raw data openly available: our published measurement (the write-up is in Norwegian, the raw data is not). It shows who the AI services actually mention and cite, counted from published answers anyone can download and check. We keep ourselves out of the ranking and state our own numbers plainly, including when they are small. That is how we think measurement should be done: verifiable, not as advertising.
Check yourself in seconds
One of the most common gaps is technical: ChatGPT and Bing read web pages without running JavaScript, and many websites effectively show them a blank page without the owner knowing. You can test that right now with our free tool, “Ser AI nettstedet ditt?”. Paste your address and get an answer, free and without registration. The tool is in Norwegian, but the verdict is plain enough to read in any language.
Why us
We show the work. One of our clients has gone from zero to more than 6,700 AI citations, measured and documented, and you can follow the numbers yourself. You get verifiable findings rather than loose claims, and you can see what we build on. Classic SEO sits underneath as the foundation, but on its own it is no longer enough. We deliver both.
Want to know where you stand today? Start with a free analysis in your market and language, and we will show you the gap concretely. Our prices are published, see the pricing page.
Questions we often get
What is AI visibility?
AI visibility is the degree to which a business is mentioned and cited when people put questions to AI services such as ChatGPT, Google AI and Gemini. Where classic SEO is about ranking in a list of links, AI visibility is about being part of the answer itself. If you are not in the answer, you effectively do not exist for the person asking.
How is AI visibility different from ordinary SEO?
Ordinary SEO optimises for ranking in search results, a list you can climb. AI visibility is about being chosen as a source when the AI writes one answer. Our own measurements show that the two do not follow each other: pages that rank well in Google can be entirely absent from AI answers, and the other way round. Good SEO is the foundation, but on its own it does not get you into the answer.
Which AI services do you measure?
Four surfaces: ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Gemini and Microsoft Copilot. They read the web in different ways and largely use different sources, so being visible on one surface says nothing about the others. That is why all four are measured, every time.
How do I know that what you do works?
Because we measure before and after, and publish the method. We run fixed questions against all four AI surfaces from a documented IP address inside the market being measured, store every answer as raw data, and publish the measurement openly, including the numbers that do not flatter us. You do not have to take our word for it: you can read the raw data and count for yourself.
How long does it take to see results?
It varies, and anyone promising a specific date is guessing. Some changes are picked up by the AI services within days, other signals build over months, and answers vary from day to day. That is why we measure continuously instead of promising dates. You see the change yourself, in numbers you can verify.
What does it cost?
Our prices are published. The first analysis is free. A full analysis costs EUR 390, and the amount is credited if you take a subscription afterwards. Fixes are priced from EUR 990 based on the findings, and subscriptions run from EUR 390 to EUR 1,490 per month. All prices exclude VAT, and the full list is on our pricing page.
Which markets and languages do you work in?
We work internationally. AI answers differ by country and by language, so we measure from inside the market you sell in, using the words your customers actually use. The method is identical everywhere: fixed questions, four AI surfaces, and every answer stored as raw data you can read. We are based in Oslo and have run measurements in several markets. Tell us your market and language, and we will say plainly what we can document.
